I just wanna tell you guys that you ROCK and I absolutely LOVE Quaker Meadow. It's one of those places where I can just be myself, without having to worry about what other people think of me. Thank you so much for making camp a great place to be. Love, Rachel (P.S.: See you this summer!)

I was very pleasantly surprised to see that Quaker Meadows still exists. If this is the same place I'm thinking of, my one and only experience there was during the summer of about 1951. It was a long, hot ride in an old school bus, and the facilities were relatively primative. But I had a great time, and remember it well. Best regards, Willis Fagan

I've been to QM for four years and this year really changed me the most. The connection that I made with the staff and the kindness that they showed to me was really amazing, it made camp an even better experience for me. I hope to work at QM this summer and this years staff has really inspired me to let others have the same experience that I had. Peace Out.

It has been about 40 years since I was a camper/counselor at Quaker Hill. I have great memories! Of course, the camp I remember doesn't have as many buildings - the pictures are great. I am a member of the Quaker Hill Camp Board in Idaho, which is another beautiful mountain camp, but will never be the same as Quaker Meadow!

Hello eveyone, it's that time of year again. The time where every persons heart beats faster. Time to fill out those applications and pray. Time for the wonderfull staff and board to take time and read over all these wonderfull applications and pray and decide. Big thanks to the staff and board for all their hard work and efforts to keep QMCC going. All of you are great, keep up the hard work. I pray continuously for this upcoming summer at QMCC and the new staff. QMCC has changed so many lives and mine and I know it wont stop there. Everytime I am up there, get this overwhelming feeling of love and happiness. I always hear people say that since QMCC is at such an high elevation you are closer to God. You know, when you are there, you absolutely feel closer to God, but that shouldn't change when you get back home. Thanks to everyone who has ever been on staff or volunteered at camp. I have so much to say about camp but I will spare you. So many great stories. Thanks again to the current staff and board. Oh and special thanks to Terry Taylor. You have done a lot for camp and it is very appreciated. Keep it up. Don't let anything get you down. Remember, the Bible says, God will not put us through anything He knows we can't handle. Bye all. God Bless!!!

Just looking up other comments on the guestbook. Somebody mentioned ancestors, and I had to say ouch. It was 20 some years ago, but I did feel a bit older than moments before. I think this site is great, and it sure is nice to see a bit of the past. I just wanted to say hi to the people of yesteryear who are still connected with Quaker Meadow. The only ones I know for sure about are Dennis Trzeciak and Jim O'Brian. Hi, from this portion of the Jensen clan. Jeannette

Man God is awesome! These last 2 weeks have been like an action movie. I can just visualize Matt Lusk (The Man), with his shirt off covered in sweat fighting the fire with one hand and signaling to the staff to head for safety with the other. Then I realize that I am the only one that can do that. Thank You Jeremy Boyd, Chris Sterry and whoever else that contributed to the updated information on camp. You guys are doing a wonderful job. I was on staff from 1974-78; my wife, Ginger, and I met at QM the summer of 1978 and married the next summer. Thank God for the ministry of QM in the lives of both the young and not-so-young. Ginger was led to Christ at QM before we met; my Christian walk as a teenager was certainly strengthened there. THANK GOD FOR QM!!!!!

What a fun experience to drive my daughter, Molly up last week to be part of the 1999 permanent staff. My overnight stay was very enjoyable from Robert's stir fry for dinner, to Cindi's adventure to watch the sunset, to playing games in Lewis Lodge with some of God's finest young people. Thank you for providing such a wonderful place to view God's wonders and be assured of His everlasting love.

I went to Quaker Meadow Camp as a child of ten in 1957! It is an experience I have never forgotten. The lake was COLD and it rained on my top bunk! But I loved the chapel where a deer came up from the meadow and put its nose on the window during evening service. I also loved the campfire area in the rocks. At the age of 51 I have recently returned to membership in the Society of Friends at Yorba Linda Friends Church ("the church on the hill") in Yorba Linda, California. I will be married there in January 1999! It's great to be home!

You have a very nice camp, from what I can tell over the net. Should you ever pass through the Illinois Valley, between Crescent City, CA, and Grants Pass, OR, please stop and join us for Sunday meeting, or one of several mid-week in-home prayer meetings. Advise ahead via email. Bask in the light of God's love.

I attended my last camp in the summer '64. I have fond memories of camp. A pastor's wife, Marjory Meyers, from Bell Friends Church prayed with me when I accepted Jesus. God bless Quaker Meadow Camp ! I will always remember a couple from Biola who were there: Mark and Liz Frendenburg.

In Christian love, Carolyn
