Quaker Meadow Christian Camp and Retreat Center was founded in 1939 by the Evangelical Friends churches in California. It has since become a registered non-profit and non-denominational Christian organization catering to church groups and Christian organizations in Southern and Central California and beyond. Our mission is to provide an environment for youth and adults to come into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and to nurture a lifelong commitment of knowing and serving Him. We are located within the boundaries of the Sequoia National Monument in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. The property is approximately 45 miles east of Porterville, California and is nestled among majestic Giant Sequoias at an elevation of 7,200 feet.
Each year Quaker Meadow Christian Camp and Retreat Center offers a complete summer and winter camp experience. Summer Camp groups can be accommodated up to 300 people. Quaker Meadow Camp also offers a host of dates during the winter that are open for winter rental by medium groups of up to 100 people. The winter camps offer the campers the unique opportunity to marvel in the beautiful snow covered landscape of Quaker Meadow.
Time spent in the grandeur of God’s creation at Quaker Meadow Camp could make a lasting difference in your life or in the life of someone you love. This is the vision that started Quaker Meadow and it is still the vision of Quaker Meadow today. Consider making Quaker Meadow Camp part of your summer or winter plans.
